Patti Gervan, Pampered Chef
30 minute Dinners

7:30-9:30pm

Patti Gervan joins us at EMN to make a 30 minute meal for us all to enjoy as she shares some trick of the trade in being successful as an Independent Sales Director.

Patti Gervan has been with the Pampered Chef for over 10 years.  She is an Independent Sales Director with 50 consultants on her team.  She left her full time administrative assistant union job over 8 years ago to focus on her Pampered Chef business and she has never looked back.  Now she has a career she loves instead of a job she hates.

Patti and her husband Al are in their 50's and enjoy travelling together on the incentive trips she earns every year with The Pampered Chef.  Most recently they have been to Aruba, Paris, Mexico, Greece, Hawaii and Barcelona.  She is currently earning a trip to Prague.

Patti and her husband have two grown children in their 20's and Patti's parents live with them in their home in Coquitlam.  She and her Mom love to cook and bake together while Al and her Dad enjoy the benefits.  Now when Patti tests Pampered Chef recipes on her family the groceries are considered a write off!  She loves the flexibility that her business affords her.  In this regard she has been known to call a friend while walkiong her dog in the middle of a weekday saying "this is the sound of me being free!"  That about sums up her love of The Pampered Chef and her life.

What To Expect At Our Chapter Meetings:

Wondering what a chapter meeting is like?

Our monthly chapter meeting typically lasts for 2 hours.  The format consists of:

- 45-min Speaker Presentation
- 15-min Networking Break
- 45-min Small Group Discussion

The collaborative small group discussion setting allows you to share your success stories and inspiration, brainstorm for ideas and suggestions, ask for feedback, and support other mom entrepreneurs with your own resources and experience.  We believe that more heads are better than one!  The collective group can usually come up with pretty creative ideas for solving your particular issue or problem, and if you need further assistance, you are more than welcome to request for a follow-up, and tap into the Enterprising Moms Network's collection of advisors, coaches, and resources.

Whatever the stage of your business, we welcome you to join us at our Chapter Meeting next month.  First time guests always attend free-of-charge.  We look forward to learning about you and your business!

Register here as a guest and come to our next meeting!  We look forward to meeting you and learning more about your business.

Ted Lau, Ballistic Arts Media Studios

  • How to effectively market your business to your audience
  • How to shape your marketing to fit in line with your business objectives
  • Developing a brand and sticking with it
  • Mixing and matching: integrating various aspects of marketing for your business
  • External and internal marketing
  • Social Media - what is it? How can it help my business?
  • Q&A

After somehow completing a degree in Communications at Simon Fraser University, Ted roamed the streets of Vancouver trying to solicit business from people. He soon found out that in order to get business, you first need a company with services people want.

Enter Ballistic Arts Media Studios Inc. Along with his equally demented business partner Tak Kawana, Ballistic Arts was birthed in 2002. As a full-service creative agency, Ballistic Arts remedies all patients’ marketing ailments with the proper doses of graphic design, blend of website development, spoonful of video production, and a twist of photography services for good measure.

Like all ADHD-ridden entrepreneurs, ted can’t sit still. So, instead of having him talk them to death at work, his colleagues have put him in community groups. He currently serves as Marketing Chair for SHARE Family and Community Services Society's Just Desserts Gala fundraiser, and as Communication Chair for the Entrepreneurs Organization’s Accelerator program. In 2007-20009, he served as a board director for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce and sat as Marketing Chair. And because he likes chairs so much, he sits in wooden chair when he mentors graphic design for the Immigrant Services Society of BC, and in a soft cushiony one when he attended IABC Professional Development meetings in 2009. Oddly enough, ted stands every week when he gives piano lessons to at-risk youth in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

He’s married (yes, really), a father of a little baby girl (again, yes, really), a black belt martial artist (to protect himself from himself), and able to speak 4 languages (sometimes all at once, and none very well).
